Before You Do…Notice

Most of us spend our days trying to fix something.

Fix the schedule.
Fix the relationship.
Fix ourselves.
Fix tomorrow before today is even finished.

But what if nothing needed fixing for just a moment?

What if we pause simply to notice?

Notice the way the morning light reaches across the kitchen counter.

Notice the sigh you didn't realize you were carrying.

Notice the person standing in front of you instead of the task waiting behind them.

Notice the quiet feeling that something beautiful has been there all along.

There is a strange kind of peace that comes when we stop chasing the next answer long enough to pay attention to this moment.

Not because the moment is extraordinary.

Because ordinary moments have been extraordinary all along.

Today, don't worry about changing anything.

Just notice.
